Job Description

Piper Companies is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join a growing pharmaceutical manufacturing organization operating in a highly regulated production environment. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing manufacturing equipment while supporting continuous operations on a 2-2-3 schedule. This opportunity is ideal for candidates with pharmaceutical, biotechnology, industrial manufacturing, or related maintenance experience and offers strong growth potential within a stable organization. Responsibilities of the
Maintenance Technician:
  • Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on manufacturing and utility equipment.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems to minimize downtime.
  • Support equipment reliability initiatives and continuous improvement projects.
  • Document maintenance activities in accordance with company procedures and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with operations, engineering, and quality teams to ensure production goals are met.
  • Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and qualification activities.
  • Maintain a safe work environment while adhering to GMP and company standards.
Qualifications of the
Maintenance Technician:
  • Associate degree in a technical field, BioWork Certificate, or equivalent maintenance experience.
  • Previous maintenance experience within pharmaceutical, biotechnology, manufacturing, food & beverage, or other regulated industries preferred.
  • Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting principles.
  • Experience with preventive maintenance programs and maintenance documentation.
  • Ability to work a 2-2-3 schedule and support a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment. Compensation for the Maintenance Technician includes:
  • Salary range: $70,000
  • $100,000 depending on experince

    Day Shift:
    6:00 AM
    • 6:00 PM (2-2-3 schedule)
    Night Shift:
    6:00 PM
