We're looking for a dependable and experienced Construction / Maintenance Technician who takes pride in their work and wants to grow with our team. Position Overview This is a hands-on, field-based position with a wide variety of work. One day may involve completing repairs at a commercial property, while another may involve working alongside our construction team on a renovation or new construction project. We're looking for someone who is mechanically inclined, can troubleshoot problems, works well independently, and is willing to jump in wherever needed to get the job done right. Responsibilities Perform general construction, repair, and maintenance work Complete carpentry, framing, drywall, painting, trim, flooring, and similar tasks Perform minor plumbing, electrical, and general building repairs within your skill level Assist with commercial renovations, residential projects, tenant improvements, and punch-list work Troubleshoot maintenance and construction issues and identify practical solutions Safely operate common hand and power tools Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas Communicate professionally with project managers, team members, subcontractors, and clients Complete assigned work efficiently while maintaining RYCO's quality standards Travel to project and maintenance locations as required Required Qualifications Construction, maintenance, or related trade experience is required General carpentry, repair, and construction skills Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record required Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to follow work orders, plans, drawings, and verbal instructions Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Dependable, punctual, self-motivated, and professional Ability to safely lift 50 lbs. and perform physically demanding work Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying job-site conditions Preferred Experience Experience in multiple trades is a plus, including: Carpentry and framing Drywall and finishing Painting Doors, trim, and hardware Flooring Minor plumbing repairs Minor electrical repairs Commercial property maintenance What RYCO Offers Competitive compensation based on skills and experience Full-time, steady work Variety of commercial and residential projects Opportunity to expand your construction and maintenance skills Advancement opportunities as the company grows Professional and team-oriented work environment We're Looking for the Right Person We're looking for someone who takes ownership of their work, shows up ready to work, solves problems, and takes pride in doing things the right way.
