Now Hiring:
Floor Tech | 3pm-11pm We're currently seeking a Floor Technician to join our team. This role plays a vital part in ensuring our facility is clean, safe, and welcoming for residents, visitors, and staff by maintaining the appearance and cleanliness of all floor surfaces.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain facility floors through regular buffing, stripping, waxing, scrubbing, and finishing. Operate and maintain floor care equipment safely and correctly. Follow safety procedures and report any needed repairs or hazards. Assist with general cleaning and sanitation as needed. Participate in facility-wide efforts to improve workflow, cleanliness, and resident satisfaction. Take on additional projects and responsibilities as assigned.
Work Environment:
You'll work primarily indoors throughout the facility—including resident rooms and common areas—on carpeted and tiled surfaces. The role may involve exposure to cleaning chemicals, biohazards, and varying noise levels due to equipment. You'll interact regularly with residents, staff, and visitors.
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED, or equivalent work experience. Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Dependable and self-motivated with the ability to work independently. Team player with a positive attitude and a commitment to customer service. Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs., stand or walk for extended periods, and perform repetitive motions (mopping, buffing, etc.). Must be adaptable, approachable, and able to work under pressure.
