We are currently seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our engineering and maintenance team within the manufacturing sector. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth operation of our machinery and equipment, contributing directly to the efficiency and quality of our products. Responsibilities Conduct routine and scheduled maintenance procedures. Troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform repairs to prevent or minimize downtime. Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service. Diagnose mechanical problems and determine how to correct them, checking blueprints, repair manuals, and parts catalogs as necessary. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas. Implement continuous improvement practices to enhance production efficiency and reliability of machinery. Record maintenance and repair work performed and the costs of the work. Coordinate with other team members and departments to optimize maintenance resources. Required Skills Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. Familiarity with industrial tools, equipment, and machinery. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and manuals. Effective communication skills with the ability to work in a team. Basic computer skills for maintaining records and inventory of maintenance supplies.
