Job Description
Overview:
We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Person to join our team. As a Maintenance Person, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning and upkeep of our facilities. This is a vital role that requires strong leadership skills and a solid background in facilities maintenance.Duties:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including repairing and replacing equipment, fixtures, and systems
- Conduct inspections to identify potential issues or areas in need of repair
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and resolve issues in a timely manner
- Fabricate and weld as needed for repairs or modifications
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and diagnose problems
- Maintain and repair electrical systems, including wiring, lighting, and control panels
- Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to track work orders, inventory, and maintenance history
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment
Qualifications:
- Strong mechanical knowledge and experience in facilities maintenance
- Proficient in welding and fabrication techniques
- Familiarity with electrical systems, including wiring and logic controllers
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose issues accurately
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Experience using CMMS software preferred We offer competitive pay rates for this position.
