Job Description

Overview:
We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Person to join our team. As a Maintenance Person, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning and upkeep of our facilities. This is a vital role that requires strong leadership skills and a solid background in facilities maintenance.
Duties:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including repairing and replacing equipment, fixtures, and systems
  • Conduct inspections to identify potential issues or areas in need of repair
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests and resolve issues in a timely manner
  • Fabricate and weld as needed for repairs or modifications
  • Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and diagnose problems
  • Maintain and repair electrical systems, including wiring, lighting, and control panels
  • Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to track work orders, inventory, and maintenance history
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment
Qualifications:
  • Strong mechanical knowledge and experience in facilities maintenance
  • Proficient in welding and fabrication techniques
  • Familiarity with electrical systems, including wiring and logic controllers
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose issues accurately
  • Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written
  • Experience using CMMS software preferred We offer competitive pay rates for this position.
