4th Shift; 6:00 a.m.- 6:30 p.
Pay Range:
$22.35- $31.
Shift Differential SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for performing as part of a team that maintains and repairs machines in a production setting, including preventive maintenance and identifying solutions to better meet performance goals.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSBILITIES
- Set up equipment or machines
- Adjust production machines and related equipment, according to maintenance schedule, manufacturer's service manuals and production tolerances
- Inspect machines and troubleshoot to detect potential malfunctions
- Replace repaired parts or install new parts to restore machine to operating condition
- Lubricate grease fittings and moving parts of machine and other preventive maintenance requirements as directed by supervisors
- Complete Preventive Maintenance and work orders in a timely manner
- Work within safety guidelines at all times
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
Physical Requirements /Environment:

Frequently (1-10 lbs), Occasionally as required with assistance (up to 35-50 lbs.)Other Physical Requirements:
o Frequently; bend/stoop, squat, crawl, climb, reach above shoulder (2-3 ft.), crouch, kneel, push/pull, graspPhysical Environment:
Continuously:
Working around moving machinery, working in a damp, slippery and cold environment (Below 40° F) o working around moving machinery, in areas with marked changes in temperature and humidity, exposure to dust and fumes, occasionally working at unprotected heights, around and amongst dead birds and a strong chicken odor, some tight or confined space areasRequirement:
Minimum of 6 months cumulative experience in industrial maintenance or auto mechanics. Education program completion or certification can be used in place of experience.Rehire Consideration:
Max of two (2) previous Tyson Employments to be considered for hire. 90 days (3 months) waiting period.Relocation Assistance Eligible:
