Facilities Maintenance Technician

This position is for the mechanically inclined individual that tinkers and handles repairs of equipment, carpentry, lite plumbing & electrical. Saco River Family Camping is to help us keep our 50 scenic acres along the river clean, safe, and running smoothly. Whether you're mowing the lawn, preparing a rental for a new guest, fixing a fence, or just pointing a camper in the right direction, this job is about pride in your work—and loving where you do it. Your impact… As a vital part of our facilities team, you'll play a key role in delivering the clean, comfortable, and welcoming experience our guests have come to expect. In this role, you will: Maintain the campground's grounds, buildings, and campsites Perform lite repairs, plumbing and electrical, trash runs, and landscaping Experience using hand tools and maintenance equipment Maintain sparkling clean public buildings, rentals, and shared areas throughout the campground Prepare our cozy rental units to ensure each guest arrives to a spotless, inviting space Keep supplies stocked and storage areas organized to keep things running smoothly Work efficiently to meet daily goals while supporting a collaborative team Respond to guest needs and assist in ensuring safety across public areas Be a visible, friendly presence during day and night rounds Help make everything cleaner, safer, and better—because every detail matters What you'll bring… Friendly, team-oriented attitude with strong customer service skills Excellent attention to detail and organization Ability to work independently or as part of a team Strong time management and communication skills Physically able to lift, push and pull up to 75lbs, bend, kneel, crouch, walk or stand for long periods, climb as needed, and open to a bunch of physical work Willingness to work flexible hours including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays A valid driver's license Enjoy staying active and being outdoors in all kinds of weather Want to work flexible shifts to add income to something else you are doing (shifts available on weekends & holidays) Have advanced maintenance or landscaping experience and are mechanically inclined Want full-time or part-time for the season (now through November) Desire to be a part of a friendly, hardworking team and contribute to our guest-families' memorable vacation experiences —right along the Saco River!
