We are committed to maintaining high standards of property upkeep and resident satisfaction through dedicated on-site maintenance teams. About the Position We are seeking a reliable, hands-on Onsite Maintenance Technician to join our team. You must be motivated to perform general maintenance work, including cleaning, lawn care, snow removal, painting, and repairs at 44-unit apartment complex in Farmington New Hampshire, and 20-unit complex in Berwick, Maine. Travel between the two properties is required. This position also involves direct, face-to-face interaction with tenants , so strong customer-service and communication skills are essential. The ideal candidate is a dependable problem-solver who takes pride in quality work and providing a positive experience for residents. Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and preventative maintenance Respond promptly and professionally to tenant maintenance requests Communicate directly with tenants regarding maintenance concerns, scheduling, and completed work General understanding of plumbing systems. Provide friendly, courteous, and professional customer service at all times Enter tenant apartments and occupied spaces to diagnose and complete repairs Maintain common areas, buildings, and grounds Complete painting, drywall, carpentry, and general repairs as needed Inspect equipment and property for maintenance and safety concerns Respond to maintenance emergencies in a timely manner Maintain accurate records of completed work and repairs Keep maintenance areas, tools, and equipment clean and organized Assist with snow removal, salting, and winter property maintenance as needed Follow all applicable safety procedures and regulations Assist with notifications and recertification distribution to tenants. Qualifications Previous maintenance or facilities experience preferred Strong customer service and interpersonal skills Comfortable working directly with tenants face-to-face Professional, respectful, and approachable demeanor General knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, and mechanical systems Ability to troubleshoot problems and find practical solutions Basic hand and power tool experience Valid driver's license preferred Ability to lift, carry, climb, bend, and work in various conditions Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently Strong communication and organizational skills What We Offer Competitive pay Full-time, year-round employment Stable onsite work environment Opportunities for advancement PTO Company-provided tools and equipment as applicable
