Job Description

Job Overview •Prior experience is a must•Join our team as a Pool & Spa Maintenance Technician, where you will play a vital role in ensuring the cleanliness, safety, and optimal functioning of pools and spas for vacation homes at the shore including during changeovers at rental properties. This energetic position offers the opportunity to work outdoors, utilize your mechanical skills, and deliver exceptional service to clients. Your expertise will help create inviting, well-maintained aquatic environments that enhance relaxation and enjoyment for our customers. Responsibilities Perform routine pool and spa cleaning, including skimming, vacuuming, brushing walls, and emptying skimmer baskets to maintain pristine water quality. Conduct regular water testing to monitor chemical levels and adjust treatments to ensure safety and clarity. Inspect pool equipment such as pumps, filters, heaters, and chlorinators; perform troubleshooting Maintain records of maintenance activities, chemical treatments, and equipment repairs for each site. Identify potential mechanical issues early by performing preventative maintenance checks and notifying supervisors of necessary repairs. Assist with installation or replacement of pool components and equipment to ensure optimal operation. Follow all safety protocols during maintenance activities to protect yourself and clients from hazards. Requirements Prior service technician experience or background in pool maintenance Familiarity with pool cleaning techniques, chemical balancing, and water chemistry fundamentals. Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and specialized maintenance equipment safely and effectively. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills for record keeping. Physical ability to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions, including lifting heavy equipment and standing for extended periods. Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with clients and team members. Potential for growth and additional hours
Pay:
$19.00 - $28.00 per hour
