About the Role The Essity Manufacturing Professional Hygiene North America Converting Team is currently searching for Maintenance Technician
  • Manufacturing . This position will be based at our facility in Bordentown, New Jersey. The Maintenance Technician
  • Manufacturing is responsible for performing preventive and predictive maintenance on production and paper-converting equipment, troubleshooting technical issues using root cause analysis, and supporting operators with technical guidance.
The role requires expertise in mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical systems, as well as industrial maintenance skills.

  • Friday from 7:00AM to 3:30PM What You Will Do Consistently demonstrate safe work practices and promote a culture of safety among team members.
Perform preventative maintenance and predictive maintenance on process equipment to improve reliability. Troubleshooting equipment and processes. Knowledge of maintenance planning process and manufacturing work systems. Maintain necessary documentation (drawings, diagrams, bill of materials, etc.) and communicate repairs to others. Participates in improvement projects to reduce maintenance costs and reduce process equipment failures. Works collaboratively with Maintenance and Operations Leadership, Subject Matter Experts, Vendors, Technical representatives and Contractors on a project and ongoing basis as needed. Electrical work scope includes knowledge in motor control circuits, AC & DC drives, electrical power distribution, Allen Bradley PLC software, I/O devices, and other industrial electrical systems Working with mechanical and electrical blueprints or drawings is a big plus. Meeting Essity Safety and Quality standards when performing tasks, such as but not limited to Lock Out/Tag Out or Confined Space. Following a strict Preventive Maintenance Schedule. Report any machine defects identified during PM that cannot be corrected to supervisor. Responding to calls from the production team to restore and/or adjust machines to keep product running at expected rates. Who You Are High School graduate or GED required, Technical or College degree preferred. 3+ years of Industrial Maintenance experience Experience working with a preventive maintenance schedule Minimum 3 years working with the following tools and machinery:
  • Lathe
  • Drill presses
  • Band saws
  • Hand tools
  • Pipefitting
  • Welding, brazing, burring

Expected Compensation:
Starting pay: $30 to $34 per hour + Quarterly Bonus + full benefits Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors such as knowledge, skills, and experience.
