Our facility in Carlstadt, NJ is currently seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. Core Responsibilities Perform comprehensive facility and equipment maintenance as a dedicated mechanic. Execute essential mechanical upkeep, including machine lubrication, preventative maintenance tasks, and necessary repairs. Utilize your mechanical aptitude to operate equipment effectively while conducting routine preventative maintenance. Ensure production continuity by performing repairs and maintenance on all machinery as required. Help maintain a safe working environment by identifying performance issues and conducting thorough inspections of all equipment. Suggest and execute improvements or modifications for both new and existing production machinery. Required Qualifications Possess four to five years of professional experience in a maintenance mechanic role. Demonstrate proficiency working with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs). Compensation and Perks This role is structured as an evaluation-based hire. During this initial period, you will have access to a variety of benefits, including medical, dental, and vision coverage. Available Shifts:
1st and 2nd Technical Proficiencies Expertise in mechanical troubleshooting. Ability to diagnose and resolve electrical issues. Strong background in general maintenance and repair procedures. Experience working with industrial electrical systems. Help ensure maximum equipment uptime through advanced diagnostics and troubleshooting. Skill in repairing and maintaining various mechanical systems and components. Competence in the installation and setup of industrial equipment.
