We seek an experienced Facilities Maintenance Systems Technician to maintain and optimize building systems in a manufacturing environment. You'll perform daily inspections, troubleshoot and repair HVAC and mechanical equipment, manage work orders, respond to emergencies, and coordinate with contractors to ensure safe and efficient facility operations. Principal Duties & Responsibilities Inspect, operate and maintain HVAC, mechanical and building automation systems Perform routine and preventative maintenance on air handlers, boilers, pumps and related equipment Execute minor repairs (light bulbs, drywall, fixtures, hardware) Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions using technical drawings and service manuals Use computerized work order systems to track and manage maintenance tasks Coordinate with external contractors for repairs and installations Respond to emergency situations and participate in on-call after-hours support Comply with safety and environmental regulations and participate in required training Physical Requirements Work indoors/outdoors in varying temperatures and conditions. Work around moving machinery, in confined spaces, and on elevated surfaces. Use mechanical lifting equipment (forklifts, man-lifts) to manage loads. Work flexibly across various shifts and positions as tasks require. Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Facility Maintenance Systems Technician certification (BOMI, SMRP, TPC or community college) Minimum 6+ years manufacturing or industrial maintenance experience NJ Low Pressure Black Seal Boiler license Preferred Qualifications OSHA-10 certification Emergency response training
