This Direct-Hire opportunity seeks a mechanically inclined individual for hands-on training with our current Maintenance Engineer. This is an amazing opportunity for career growth and advancement! As you progress, you'll take on troubleshooting, repairs, preventive maintenance, and safety-focused tasks that protect both people and equipment. Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot and repair production equipment across the facility, including presses, bindery machines, and related systems.
• Carry out routine mechanical tasks such as lubrication, cleaning, part changes, and equipment adjustments.
• Support preventive maintenance efforts to boost equipment reliability and reduce downtime.
• Respond to maintenance calls on the production floor and assist with equipment checks and inspections.
• Follow all required safety procedures, including lockout/tagout and hazard reporting, to ensure a safe work environment.
• Keep maintenance logs accurate, tools organized, and the work area clean and orderly. Schedule is 1st Shift / 7:00 AM
• 3:00 PM / Monday
• Friday. Pay rate is $25.00

• Mechanical curiosity and comfort working with tools and industrial equipment.
• Ability to pick up new maintenance techniques quickly and apply them on the floor.
• Steady troubleshooting mindset with a willingness to dive into mechanical issues.
• Strong communication and teamwork while supporting production and engineering.
• Consistent focus on safe work habits and following established procedures.
• High school diploma or equivalent; any technical coursework or training is a plus.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. and handle physical tasks such as climbing, kneeling, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Familiarity with basic hand tools, power tools, and simple diagnostic equipment.
• Dependable work ethic with the ability to follow directions and learn new skills in a fast-paced environment.
