Job Description
Amusement Rides Maintenance Mechanic Wanted (Indoor Amusement Park) ( Willing to train the right candidate ) Part-Time / Full-Time Position(s) available Weekends / Nights / Holidays / Peak Seasons are required Summary This Rides Maintenance Mechanic maintains and repairs rides, attractions, and general facilities. This position must perform technical inspections and routine preventative and scheduled maintenance. This position will also be required to prepare and properly complete basic paper records and reports. Duties and Responsibilities Inspecting / Diagnosing mechanical problems and determining the most feasible way(s) to correct them. Performing inspections / Routine preventative maintenance on Rides & Attractions. Comprehensive skills are required as some mechanical repairs may require dismantling / assembling mechanical and electrical devices and/or repairing / replacing defective parts. Preparing and properly completing basic maintenance paper records and reports. Performing other maintenance and/or repairs to building facilities as directed. Knowledge, Skills, & Ability Must have a valid Driver's License. Professional experience is required particularly mechanical skills. Must have an understanding / general knowledge of industry standards, methods, practices, procedures, tools, and materials used in the maintenance and repair of Rides, Games, and General Facility. Must possess an understanding of OSHA Codes and safety procedures used in maintenance activities. Must be able to follow written and/or verbal instructions. Must be able to work independently and cooperatively with all maintenance teams and other divisional employees and leadership. Must have knowledge of Ride maintenance and safety programs. Preventative maintenance procedures and upkeep of related documentation is also required. NAARSO certification is preferred. Schedule Weekends / Nights / Holidays / Peak Seasons are required 55-Hours per week (Full-Time) 30-40-Hours per week (Part-Time)
