Step into a hands-on role where your technical expertise directly supports life-changing therapies. As a Maintenance & Calibration Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability and performance of advanced manufacturing equipment within a cutting-edge Radioligand Therapy environment. NOTE:
The shift structure is currently in flux. Shift days and hours will be determined and communicated as soon as possible.

Key ResponsibilitiesPerform preventive maintenance and intermediate calibrations on production, laboratory, and utility equipmentTroubleshoot equipment issues, identify root causes, and execute repairs using established proceduresSupport equipment start-ups, shutdowns, and minor modifications, including replacement of components such as sensors, valves, and drivesAccurately complete and review maintenance and calibration records within the CMMS accurately and on time.

Contribute to improvements in maintenance procedures and standard operating practicesSupport investigations and corrective actions by providing technical insight and equipment dataMentor junior technicians and promote strong compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standardsComply with and promote cGMP, GDP, EHS, and radiation safety standards in all activitiesEssential RequirementsTechnical diploma or bachelor's degree in engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Instrumentation, Automation, Mechatronics), or related field, or equivalent hands-on experienceMinimum 2 years of maintenance or calibration experience, preferably within a GMP-regulated pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, or similar environment.

Strong understanding of maintenance and calibration principles and industry-standard methodologiesExperience working with a CMMS to plan, execute, and document work.

Ability to troubleshoot equipment issues and work independently on routine and intermediate technical tasksDesirable RequirementsFamiliarity with cleanroom environments, clean utilities, and basic automation or control systemsExperience in a radiopharmaceutical or radioligand therapy manufacturing environmentThe salary for this position is expected to range between $39.04 and $72.50 per hour. The final salary offered is determined based on factors like, but not limited to, relevant skills and experience, and upon joining Novartis will be reviewed periodically. Novartis may change the published salary range based on company and market factors. Your compensation will include a performance-based cash incentive and, depending on the level of the role, eligibility to be considered for annual equity awards.
