Winchester Gardens is a Springpoint Senior Living Community located in Maplewood, NJ. We are currently in search of a full-time Maintenance Technician to join our team. At Springpoint, our Maintenance Technician is responsible for providing general maintenance for the facility and its residents.
Responsibilities:
Assist in cleaning various equipment throughout the facility, clean out apartments when vacated or after demolition, change light bulbs, change filters, etc. Able to make use of an electronic work order system. Assist in providing material for renovation and remodeling; report stock that is needed for job performance. Maintain accurate records of time and scope utilizing work order request forms. Interact well with and assist various vendors and contractors called in to repair or provide services to facility. Provide appropriate assistance to residents, co-workers, and visitors. Represent the facility in a professional manner. Must be able to report to work at off-hours in cases of emergency. Perform all duties in a timely, effective, and cost-efficient manner. Complete and return work order tickets at end of day. Complete communication forms at apartment detailing work complete if resident was not at home. Maintain professional relationships and interact with co-workers, superiors, residents, and visitors. Follow published fire and safety procedures. Use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as necessary.
Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
