Job Description
Facility Porter / Maintenance Associate Komic Karma Club / Barrel Billiards BarNorth Brunswick, NJPart-Time | Approximately 20 Hours Per Week Komic Karma Club and Barrel Billiards Bar are looking for a dependable, hardworking Facility Porter / Maintenance Associate to help keep our entertainment venue clean, organized, safe, and guest-ready. This is a hands-on position ideal for someone who takes pride in maintaining a clean facility, notices the small things, and is comfortable working independently. Responsibilities Clean, sanitize, and regularly inspect guest and employee restrooms Restock restroom supplies including toilet paper, paper towels, and soap Clean and maintain common areas throughout the facility Wipe down tables, counters, doors, fixtures, and other high-touch surfaces Sweep, mop, vacuum, and spot-clean floors as needed Empty trash and recycling throughout the facility Remove trash and transport it to designated dumpsters Clean up spills and address messes promptly Assist with cleaning around the bar, billiards, entertainment, and event areas Perform basic general maintenance and minor repairs when appropriate Identify and report maintenance, plumbing, electrical, or facility issues to management Help organize storage, supply, and back-of-house areas Assist with setup and cleanup before and after special events Complete routine cleaning and facility checklists Help ensure the property is clean, presentable, and ready for guests at all times What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who is: Dependable and punctual Comfortable working independently Detail-oriented and proactive Willing to clean restrooms and handle trash Able to perform physical work throughout a shift Able to lift approximately 40-50 lbs when necessary Comfortable being on their feet, bending, lifting, sweeping, mopping, and moving supplies Available approximately 20 hours per week Available for some evenings and weekends as needed Prior experience in janitorial work, commercial cleaning, restaurants, bars, entertainment venues, hotels, facilities maintenance, or a similar position is helpful but not required . Schedule Part-Time — Approximately 20 Hours Per Week Schedule may include a combination of weekdays, evenings, and weekends based on business and event needs.
