Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities Conduct regular inspections of machinery, HVAC systems, refrigeration units, and electrical components to identify potential issues before they escalate. Perform repairs and maintenance on appliances, HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/Refrigeration) systems, and mechanical equipment using schematics and technical manuals. Troubleshoot complex mechanical problems utilizing schematics, technical diagrams, and diagnostic tools. Repair or replace faulty equipment parts to ensure continuous operation and safety compliance. Assist with installation projects related to construction or equipment upgrades, following safety protocols and technical specifications. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used for accountability and future reference. Collaborate with team members to lead maintenance tasks efficiently while adhering to safety standards. Skills Proven experience in appliance repair, HVAC/R systems, refrigeration, or related service technician roles. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics and technical diagrams accurately. Experience with HVAC systems including air conditioning units and ventilation systems. Skilled in equipment repair, troubleshooting electrical issues, and performing preventative maintenance. Knowledge of construction practices relevant to facility maintenance projects. Leadership qualities with the ability to guide junior team members or assist in training new staff. Excellent problem-solving skills combined with a detail-oriented approach to maintenance tasks.
