Job Description

$1,300 Per Week + Fuel Reimbursement North & Central New Jersey United Pool Management (NJPM) is seeking an experienced Commercial Pool Service Technician or Certified Pool Operator (CPO) to service a portfolio of commercial swimming pools throughout North and Central New Jersey. This position is ideal for someone with commercial or residential pool service experience who enjoys working independently, troubleshooting equipment, maintaining water quality, and managing their own route. Compensation & Benefits $1,300 per week $75 weekly fuel reimbursement Monday-Friday schedule Approximately 6-8 hours per day Weekly route schedule Company-provided chemicals, supplies, and support Potential year-round opportunities including winterizations, repairs, openings, and equipment projects Opportunity for advancement into Lead Technician or Area Supervisor roles Weekly Pool Maintenance Water testing and chemical balancing Backwashing sand filters Cleaning cartridge and DE filters Vacuuming and maintaining water clarity Monitoring feeders, pumps, and circulation systems Maintaining CPO and health department logs Ensuring pools remain safe and compliant Equipment, Facilities & Seasonal Operations Inspect pumps, filters, heaters, chlorination systems, valves, and automation equipment Identify maintenance issues before failures occur and report repair recommendations Perform minor troubleshooting and repairs as needed Maintain professional pool appearance and cleanliness Verify safety equipment is present and in good condition Document site conditions with photos and service reports Coordinate with property managers and operations staff Assist with pool openings, closings, winterizations, and preventative maintenance projects Qualifications CPO Certification preferred (not required) Commercial or residential pool service experience preferred Ability to work independently and manage a service route Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Strong communication and troubleshooting skills Mechanical aptitude highly preferred About United Pool Management United Pool Management is one of New Jersey's fastest-growing commercial pool management companies, serving condominium communities, HOAs, clubs, and recreational facilities throughout North and Central New Jersey.
