Job Description

SUMMARY Hands-on maintenance opportunity supporting production equipment in an industrial manufacturing environment. This role focuses on keeping machinery safe, reliable and productive through preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and repair, while also contributing to equipment improvements and installation projects. The position offers room to build broader technical skills and grow into increased maintenance responsibility over time.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform preventive, corrective and predictive maintenance on production machinery and related systems. Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic equipment issues to reduce downtime. Inspect equipment, identify developing problems and complete necessary adjustments, repairs or component replacement. Support machine installations, setup, commissioning, upgrades and process-related modifications. Work with production and technical teams to improve equipment reliability, efficiency and safe operation. Read and use equipment manuals, electrical diagrams, mechanical drawings and other technical documentation. Document completed maintenance, repairs, inspections, parts usage and work orders in the maintenance tracking system; system training provided. Follow established safety practices, including lockout/tagout procedures, and help identify and correct potential hazards. Maintain an organized, safe work area and properly use required tools and protective equipment.
QUALIFICATIONS
Hands-on industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience; candidates with developing experience or an apprenticeship background may also be considered. Working knowledge of PLCs and industrial equipment troubleshooting. Experience performing preventive maintenance and working directly on production machinery. Ability to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems; exposure to controls, hydraulics and pneumatics preferred. Ability to read electrical/mechanical schematics, equipment manuals and technical documentation. Experience with machinery such as automated equipment, CNC-type equipment, presses, motors and sensors is helpful. Technical education in electromechanics, industrial maintenance or a related field is beneficial. Electrical or related trade certifications are a plus. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, safety awareness and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
