POSITION SUMMARY
The Maintenance Technician assists in all aspects of maintenance including but not limited to bowling, arcade, general maintenance and other activities. The primary responsibility is to ensure that the areas overseen provide our guests with a safe and enjoyable experience.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Diagnoses and repairs bowling, arcade, and other amusement equipment and machines. Performs preventive maintenance of pinsetters, lanes, lane machine, arcade machines and readers. Maintains general upkeep and cleaning of facility and equipment. Performs maintenance and upkeep of bowling and arcade systems Supports restaurant repairs and maintenance Tracks and logs daily procedures Maintains daily, weekly, quarterly cleaning projects surrounding the lanes, ball returns, lane seating, arcade, etc. Orders and maintains inventory of bowling and arcade supplies (chemicals, socks, balls, party supplies, redemption, stocking merchandisers, etc.)

Minimum Degree Required:
High School Diploma or Equivalent
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY
Technical and math skills required Safety conscious Ability to read and understand technical manuals Must be able to safely work from a ladder Positive guest first attitude Time Management Team Player Dependable Candidate must be able to use common hand tools SAE and Metric Candidate must be familiar with multi-meter, electrical parts, hand tools and soldering irons Candidate must follow instructions and work well with others, also work well unsupervised Candidate should have strong mechanical skills and some electronics knowledge Candidate must possess good communication skills as they will be interacting with guest and their families Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. The ability to work well with a team, to prioritize, a sense of urgency and a real concern for guest satisfaction.

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 50 pounds, occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, fumes or airborne particles and toxic or caustic chemicals. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Arcade flashing lights exposure. Constantly ascend or descend ladders, stairs, ramps, etc. (climbing up to but not limited to 30 feet from the floor) Constantly stand and/or walk during shift Constantly moving, lifting and carrying objects up to 25 pounds Constantly repeat motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers Occasionally move and lift objects up to 100 pounds or more Occasionally operate motor vehicles or heavy equipment. Constantly operate machinery and/or power tools Occasionally work in tight and confined spaces Occasionally work in low or high temperatures Occasionally work in noisy environments Occasionally work in hazardous conditions Occasionally work in small and/or enclosed spaces Must have no limitations due to lifting requirements
INDEPENDENT JUDGEMENT
: P erforms duties within scope of general company policies, procedures, and objectives. Analyzes problems and performs needs assessments. Uses judgment in adapting broad guidelines to achieve desired result. Regular exercise of independent judgment within accepted practices. Makes recommendations that affect policies, procedures, and practices.
Starting Pay Rate:
$17.65 - $25.75
