As a Maintenance Mechanic - Painter, a typical day might include the following: Performing scheduled preparation to clean, scrape, sand and repair walls including ceilings and exteriors Conducting preventative maintenance activities to ensure building systems remain safe and operational. Setting up and using ladders, scaffolding, lifts and maintaining tools and spray equipment Discussing project needs, color choices, and deadlien expecations Supporting life safety initiatives, including fire boundary inspections and preventative maintenance of firefighting equipment. Utilizing work request systems to document tasks, maintain records, and track completed work. Calculating material quantities and time needed for jobs Contributing to a safe, comfortable, and healing environment for patients, visitors, and team members. To be considered for this opportunity, you must have a High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent and a minimum of five years of applicable experience in hospital or industrial maintenance or construction. A valid New Jersey Driver License is required. This a Full-Time position, Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm.
