Schedule:

Full-Time (Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM; occasional evenings/weekends for emergencies or special projects)

Pay Rate:

$25-$35 per hour (Must carry own Business Insurance)

Must have reliable personal transportation Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Worker to join our team. This hands-on role involves performing property maintenance, landscaping, and general handyman work across multiple residential properties. The ideal candidate will take initiative, demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, and ensure all properties remain safe, clean, and well-maintained. Key Responsibilities Property Maintenance & Handyman Tasks Perform general repairs, including patching, painting, fixture installation, and minor plumbing or electrical work. Flush hot water heaters, snake drains, clean and oil furnaces, and power wash building exteriors. Assist with basic pest control, including applying pesticides when needed. Conduct property inspections to identify maintenance issues and report them promptly. Perform move-in and move-out inspections to prepare units for new tenants. Meet with vendors and contractors to obtain estimates and oversee ongoing work. Landscaping & Seasonal Snow Removal Maintain lawns, hedges, flowerbeds, and overall curb appeal of all properties. Perform snow removal, salting, and operation of snow blowers during winter months. Operate and maintain landscaping equipment such as lawnmowers, trimmers, and blowers. Logistics & Property Operations Pick up and transport supplies, tools, and appliances from retail or hardware stores. Remove and properly dispose of trash, electronics, and bulk debris from properties. Maintain an organized inventory of tools, materials, and company equipment. Real Estate Support Assist with real estate showings and property inspections by preparing and opening units. Install and remove "For Sale" and "For Rent" signs, including assembling sign structures when needed. Qualifications Proven experience in property maintenance, handyman work, or a similar role. Working knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting. Ability to safely operate landscaping and snow removal equipment. Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management. Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions.
