Full-Time | 8:00 AM•5:00
PM Salary:
$21•25 per hour Join Our Team Acacia Care Rehab and Nursing Center is seeking a reliable and experienced Maintenance Technician to help maintain a safe, clean, secure, and well-functioning facility for our residents, staff, and visitors. Key Responsibilities Complete daily maintenance work orders in a timely manner. Perform basic plumbing, electrical, and general building repairs. Conduct routine building inspections and identify maintenance needs. Perform preventative maintenance to minimize equipment downtime. Handle minor carpentry, painting, flooring, and repair projects. Replace HVAC filters and assist with routine HVAC maintenance. Safely operate hand and power tools. Respond promptly to maintenance requests from residents and staff. Maintain facility grounds and ensure a safe environment. Follow all safety procedures and facility policies. Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of experience in maintenance, remodeling, construction, residential turnovers, or a related field. Demonstrated experience removing wallpaper and finishing drywall . Knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general building maintenance. Comfortable using hand and power tools. Basic computer skills and willingness to learn facility systems. Must be available to work weekends as needed.
