Maintenance Tech (Production Facility) - Wharton At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a Maintenance Tech (Production Facility) to work with DMI Skilled in Wharton. This role is essential for maintaining the efficiency of our production lines through preventive and corrective maintenance, equipment changeovers, and expert troubleshooting. Shift patterns 1st shift 7:00am to 3:00pm Availability for overtime and Saturdays is required Pay rates 27.00 - 30.00 USD hourly Essential requirements for Maintenance Tech (Production Facility) Explain your production line changeover process, including tooling inspection and storage, while ensuring minimal downtime. Describe diagnosing and repairing an urgent electrical or mechanical machinery breakdown safely and quickly under pressure. Must have used checklists for preventive maintenance on components, lubrication, and safety hazards. Explain how you would train a junior mechanic. Desirable requirements for Maintenance Tech (Production Facility) Experience working with air compressors, vacuum pumps, and performing welding and part fabrication. Proficiency with Metric and Standard hand and trades tools. Ability to work in a role that requires high visual attention and potential Saturday overtime. Fluent in English; bilingual skills are preferred. Role for Maintenance Tech (Production Facility) Perform production line changeovers and assist in line setups to ensure operational readiness. Conduct regular inspections and servicing of machinery according to a scheduled maintenance plan. Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical equipment to minimize production downtime. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used. Train mechanic trainee workers on changeovers, troubleshooting, and repairs.
