SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE US
Beverage Packers, LLC is looking for looking for a dependable Facilities Maintenance Technician to undertake upkeep and repair tasks at the interior or exterior of company premises. You must be well organized with strong general repair skills. A keen eye for detail and physical stamina are valued in this job. Must have basic maintenance and technical skills, have excellent communication, and be able to work as part of a team.
JOB RESPONSIBILITES
Work on building maintenance projects such as assembling racks, floor repair internal building inspections Performs painting, carpentry, and masonry work (e.g., preparing surfaces and using brush, sprayer, or roller to apply paints, stains, and varnishes, hanging doors, fitting locks and handles, etc.) to provide operable and efficient facilities for department personnel Conducts building repairs and performs preventive maintenance tasks, in a safe and proper manner and in accordance with SOPs and departmental policies and procedures Executes general facility work requests, such as door lock repairs/replacement soap dispensers' installation and assist with moving items Maintain awareness of the physical condition of the property and immediately correct unsafe conditions Moves and assists in office furniture renovations and installations. Apply methods, practices, and procedures in preventative maintenance, inspection, repair, renovation, and minor construction of buildings and utilities Ensure proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies; promotes continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices Documents facilities maintenance requirements and maintains appropriate records of work performed Undertake duties as assigned or emergency tasks (e.g., shoveling snow, snow removal) Maintains tools, equipment and required facility related parts/material stock in an orderly fashion. Identify and report the need for major repairs Respond to requests for maintenance services, including replacing air filters, installing new locks and troubleshooting smoke detectors Performs maintenance, light repairs, and miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned. Respond to requests from facility coordinator and manager as needed Required travel to other Arizona facilities including but not limited to Edison and Maplewood, as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
High school diploma or equivalent Experience with hardware tools and electrical equipment Ability to use hand and power tools applicable to trade Basic math skills Well-organized, attention to detail, and apt in problem-solving Ability to read, understand, follow, and enforce safety procedures Knowledge of one or more building trades Ability to stand for extended periods of time and must have the ability to lift 50 lbs. Skill in leading the work activities of self and others Skill in both verbal and written communication
