Job Summary United Premium Foods is seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our maintenance team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of a sophisticated array of industrial food processing systems. You will play a vital part in ensuring seamless production throughput and upholding our rigorous standards for safety, SQF compliance, and operational excellence. This is an opportunity for a technically minded professional to manage high-capacity equipment in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment. Key Responsibilities •
Preventative Maintenance:
Execute routine inspections and data-driven PM schedules to ensure maximum equipment uptime and facility reliability.
Technical Troubleshooting:
Diagnose complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic failures using technical schematics, manuals, and root-cause analysis.
System Repairs:
Expertly repair or replace industrial components, including motors, pumps, valves, sensors, and PCSs.
Electrical Systems:
Perform industrial electrical work on both low and high-voltage systems.
CMMS Management:
Maintain precise digital records of all maintenance activities and work orders within the MaintainX CMMS platform.
Operational Collaboration:
Partner with Production and QA teams to optimize equipment for maximum efficiency while maintaining sanitation integrity. Required Experience & Technical Skills •
Specialized Machinery:
Proven technical expertise in the setup and maintenance of high-capacity food processing equipment, specifically: Vacuum Stuffers, Double Clippers, Block Grinders, Thermoformers, and Industrial Ovens. Ability to support facility needs through overtime or weekend work as required by production schedules. Good professional manner and a positive attitude. Must be able to pass drug-screen and "fit for duty" check point.
Pay:
From $34.00 per hour
