Job Description

Maintenance Mechanic Needed in
Anthony New Mexico Area Pay Rate:
$25/hr
Shift:
Mon - Fri 7:30am - 4pm/
OT Weekly Pay Direct Deposit Available Medical/Vision/Dental Job Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment, including CNC and non-CNC machines, presses, and facility systems
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance to reduce downtime and keep equipment running efficiently
  • Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues by observing equipment, testing systems, and using precision measuring tools
  • Complete repairs involving pneumatic, hydraulic, basic electrical systems and elementary wiring.
  • Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation; listening for problems; using precision measuring and testing instruments.
  • Remove and replace defective parts using hand tools, power tools, hoists, and other equipment
  • Coordinates with production and engineering teams to align maintenance activities with operational goals and minimize downtime
  • Inspect parts and equipment to determine wear, alignment, and proper function
  • Fabricate or modify parts as needed using shop equipment such as mills, lathes, and welding tools
  • Communicate with production team members to coordinate repairs and minimize disruption to operations
  • Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, issues identified, and follow-up needs
  • Monitor equipment performance and proactively address potential problems before breakdowns occur
  • Maintains equipment, parts, and supplies inventories by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed equipment, parts, and supplies; placing and expediting orders; verifying receipt.
  • Support continuous improvement efforts to increase the efficiency and reliability of equipment
  • Travel occasionally to support equipment or operations at other facilities (up to 4 days as needed) Click Here To Apply Now Ability to work standing long hours Ability to read, write and follow written and verbal instructions Ability to perform required functions with a minimum of direct supervision in task of routine Applies acquired knowledge and skills to complete standard tasks Readily learns and applies new information and methods to work in assigned area Maintains appropriate licenses, training and certifications Ability to calculate figures and dimensions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
This position is in manufacturing environment with loud noises Must be available to work overtime High School graduate or equivalent. Vocational training or technical trade school preferred Strong mechanical abilities
