Job Description
Maintenance Mechanic Needed in
Anthony New Mexico Area Pay Rate:
$25/hrShift:
Mon - Fri 7:30am - 4pm/OT Weekly Pay Direct Deposit Available Medical/Vision/Dental Job Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment, including CNC and non-CNC machines, presses, and facility systems
- Perform routine preventative maintenance to reduce downtime and keep equipment running efficiently
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues by observing equipment, testing systems, and using precision measuring tools
- Complete repairs involving pneumatic, hydraulic, basic electrical systems and elementary wiring.
- Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation; listening for problems; using precision measuring and testing instruments.
- Remove and replace defective parts using hand tools, power tools, hoists, and other equipment
- Coordinates with production and engineering teams to align maintenance activities with operational goals and minimize downtime
- Inspect parts and equipment to determine wear, alignment, and proper function
- Fabricate or modify parts as needed using shop equipment such as mills, lathes, and welding tools
- Communicate with production team members to coordinate repairs and minimize disruption to operations
- Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, issues identified, and follow-up needs
- Monitor equipment performance and proactively address potential problems before breakdowns occur
- Maintains equipment, parts, and supplies inventories by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed equipment, parts, and supplies; placing and expediting orders; verifying receipt.
- Support continuous improvement efforts to increase the efficiency and reliability of equipment
