Job Description

Position Summary Geneis Property Management is seeking a skilled, dependable, and motivated General Maintenance & Remodel Technician to perform residential and commercial property maintenance, repairs, renovations, and remodeling projects. This position is responsible for ensuring all managed properties remain safe, functional, and visually appealing while completing projects in a timely and professional manner. The ideal candidate is experienced in multiple trades, works independently with minimal supervision, and takes pride in delivering high-quality craftsmanship. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Perform general maintenance and repair of residential and commercial properties. Complete remodeling projects, including kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, offices, and common areas. Install and repair drywall, texture, paint, trim, doors, and windows. Install flooring, including luxury vinyl plank (LVP), laminate, tile, and hardwood. Perform basic plumbing repairs, including faucets, sinks, toilets, garbage disposals, and water lines. Perform basic electrical work, including outlets, switches, lighting fixtures, ceiling fans, and breakers. Complete carpentry projects, framing, cabinetry installation, shelving, and finish work. Repair roofing, siding, fencing, and exterior structures as needed. Troubleshoot maintenance issues and determine appropriate repairs. Prepare vacant units for new tenants, including complete unit turns. Perform preventative maintenance on company-owned properties. Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner. Maintain inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies. Ensure all work complies with safety standards and local building codes. Maintain clean and organized job sites. Operate company vehicles and equipment safely. Assist with emergency repairs outside normal business hours when necessary.
Pay:
$19.00 - $25.00 per hour
