In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal operation and upkeep of our facilities and equipment. Your expertise will help maintain a safe, efficient, and well-functioning environment by performing repairs, troubleshooting issues, and conducting routine maintenance across various systems. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your mechanical knowledge and technical skills in a fast-paced setting, contributing directly to the seamless operation of our organization. Duties Perform preventative maintenance on HVAC systems, refrigeration units, appliances, and other mechanical equipment to prevent breakdowns and extend lifespan Troubleshoot and repair electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and refrigeration issues using schematics and technical manuals Conduct routine inspections of building systems including air conditioning, HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/ Refrigeration), and related equipment Diagnose problems accurately and execute repairs efficiently to minimize downtime Assist with construction or renovation projects by providing technical support and ensuring safety standards are met Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used for accountability and future reference Lead small teams or coordinate with contractors during major repairs or upgrades when necessary Requirements Proven experience as a service technician or maintenance technician with a strong background in appliance repair, HVAC/R systems, refrigeration, or mechanical maintenance Ability to read schematics, technical diagrams, and blueprints for troubleshooting and repairs Mechanical knowledge related to equipment repair, air conditioning units, refrigeration systems, and general building maintenance Experience with construction projects or facility upgrades is a plus Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose issues quickly and accurately Leadership qualities to oversee small teams or coordinate with contractors when needed Excellent communication skills to document work performed clearly and precisely Valid certifications in HVAC/R or refrigeration are preferred but not mandatory; relevant training will be provided for qualified candidates Join us in maintaining a safe and efficient environment!
