Full-time, Non-exempt Company Overview Navitas Global LLC converts dairy industry waste streams into ultra low carbon ethanol, high protein animal feed, and surplus purified water. Our Portales biorefinery expected to produce 25 MGPY of advanced ethanol per year. Position Summary Maintenance Technicians perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production and utility equipment to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient plant operations. Key Responsibilities Complete scheduled preventive maintenance (PM) tasks on pumps, valves, motors, piping, and utilities. Troubleshoot mechanical, basic electrical, and instrumentation issues to minimize downtime. Follow LOTO, confined space, and hot work procedures at all times. Enter accurate work orders and parts usage in the CMMS. Assist with equipment installations, alignments, and calibrations. Maintain a clean and safe work area; participate in daily safety meetings. Minimum Qualifications Highschool diploma or GED; technical certificate or apprenticeship preferred. 3+ years industrial or military maintenance experience. Ability to read mechanical drawings and basic electrical schematics. Skilled with hand and power tools; able to lift 50lbs and work at heights. Preferred Qualifications Experience in ethanol, dairy, food, or chemical processing plants. Basic PLC I/O troubleshooting skills. Forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days). Working Conditions Plant floor environment with exposure to noise, heat, cold, and chemicals. Rotating shift work and occasional callouts or weekend overtime.
Compensation & Benefits Hourly Pay:
$23 - $26hr (DOE) + shift differential and annual bonus opportunity. Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance. 401(k) with company match.
