Job Description

Overview The Facility Maintenance Technician / Battery Service Driver is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, appearance, safety, and functionality of all Silver State Towing facilities and fleet support areas while providing professional roadside battery services to customers. This position requires excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while representing the company in a professional manner. Facility Maintenance Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all company locations. Perform daily inspections of buildings, offices, storage yards, and parking areas. Sweep, mop, pressure wash, and remove trash and debris as needed. Maintain landscaping, including mowing, weed control, trimming, and snow removal when necessary. Organize storage areas, equipment, and inventory. Perform minor building repairs, including painting, replacing light bulbs, basic plumbing, and other general maintenance tasks. Report major repairs or safety concerns to management immediately. Ensure gates, fences, lighting, and security systems are functioning properly. Assist with yard organization and vehicle placement. Fleet & Equipment Support Keep company vehicles clean and fueled. Perform routine inspections of company vehicles and equipment. Report mechanical issues, damaged equipment, or unsafe conditions immediately. Maintain maintenance logs and complete required inspection forms. Assist with inventory of tools, batteries, fluids, and shop supplies. Battery Service Driver Respond promptly to dispatched battery service calls. Perform battery testing using approved testing equipment. Explain test results and recommend replacement when appropriate. Safely remove and install batteries according to manufacturer specifications. Properly document battery tests, installations, and customer information. Collect payments when required and accurately complete all paperwork. Maintain inventory of batteries and supplies on assigned service vehicle. Deliver exceptional customer service on every call.
Pay:
$20.00 - $22.00 per hour
