Job Description
This position must have the ability to perform preventative and corrective maintenance on Injection Molding Machines, ancillary equipment such as chillers and air compressors, and general facility maintenance. The maintenance technician will act as an integral member of the production team and will share direct responsibility for downtime and efficiencies. Requirements Perform adjustments, tuning activities, and machine startups as required to maintain optimal production efficiency. Analyze and address repetitive disturbances to minimize machine and production disruptions. Perform adjustments, tuning activities, and machine startups as required to maintain optimal production efficiency. Execute both corrective and preventative maintenance on injection molding machines, chillers, air compressors, and other equipment. Install, repair, and maintain mechanical, plumbing, and electrical equipment and conduits to ensure their safe and efficient operation. Conduct general facility maintenance, repairs, and installations as needed, including building infrastructure and utilities. Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in work areas to ensure a safe and organized working environment. Collaborate closely with production teams and leadership to understand maintenance priorities and coordinate efforts effectively. Perform equipment inspections to identify potential issues and recommend improvements to enhance reliability. Participate in training programs and stay up-to-date with industry best practices and technological advancements. Respond to emergency maintenance requests promptly to minimize downtime and production losses. Document maintenance activities, equipment status, and repairs accurately for record-keeping purposes. Adhere rigorously to safety policies, regulations, and best practices in a manufacturing setting. Complete other duties, as assigned.
