In this role, you'll be an essential part of the property operations team, ensuring residents enjoy a clean, comfortable, and well-maintained living environment every day. Position Overview The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining the physical condition of the property through preventative maintenance, repairs, unit renovations, and emergency response. This role supports all phases of maintenance operations and contributes to a positive resident experience. What You'll Do Complete maintenance service requests and work orders in a timely and professional manner Perform daily preventative and routine maintenance tasks throughout the property Prepare apartment homes for new residents, including painting, cleaning, repairs, and renovations Assist with plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, drywall, and general maintenance repairs Identify and communicate property issues, safety concerns, and maintenance needs to leadership Respond to emergency maintenance situations and document incidents appropriately Participate in the rotating on-call schedule for after-hours emergencies Perform snow removal and maintain related equipment during winter months Maintain inventory of tools, equipment, and maintenance supplies Provide resident transportation by driving the community bus as needed Deliver excellent customer service and maintain positive relationships with residents, vendors, and coworkers Follow all company safety procedures and contribute to a safe work environment Support additional property operations and maintenance needs as assigned What We're Looking For High school diploma or equivalent required Minimum of 3 years of full-time maintenance experience Working knowledge of: Electrical systems Plumbing HVAC systems Carpentry Painting and drywall repair Groundskeeping, mowing, and snow plowing Valid driver's license required Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills Excellent communication and customer service abilities Basic computer skills for managing digital work orders and maintenance systems Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment Professionalism, reliability, and a strong sense of integrity Commitment to working respectfully with individuals from diverse backgrounds Schedule + Compensation Full-time position (minimum 40 hours per week) Additional hours and on-call availability may be required Competitive pay based on experience and qualifications Comprehensive benefits package including: Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with generous employer match Paid time off and additional employee benefits About Allure Allure is a captive property management company with 17 assets under management across a national portfolio which includes Active Adult 55+, Independent Living, and Multi-Family communities.
