Job Description
Manpower is currently sourcing an experienced Maintenance Technician for a local company in North Valleys. This position offers an 8-hour shift, Monday-Friday, with 401(k) and health insurance available after the probationary period. Qualified candidates should have a proven work history in maintenance. Overview Manpower is seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in facilities maintenance, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and providing a safe, functional environment for all occupants. Duties Perform routine maintenance tasks on various systems and equipment, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems. Conduct inspections to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with safety standards. Utilize logic controllers and schematics to troubleshoot and repair equipment malfunctions. Use tools such as an Ohmmeter for electrical diagnostics and repairs. Supervise maintenance projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within specifications. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections. Assist with residential painting and other facility improvement projects as needed. Collaborate with other team members to enhance overall facility operations. Skills Strong leadership abilities to effectively manage maintenance projects and supervise team members. Proficiency in English for clear communication with team members and stakeholders. Extensive experience in facilities maintenance, including knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems. Familiarity with logic controllers for troubleshooting automated systems. Competence in using an Ohmmeter for electrical testing and diagnostics. Solid mechanical knowledge to perform repairs on various equipment types. Ability to read and interpret schematics for effective troubleshooting. Experience supervising teams or projects within a maintenance environment. Capability to maintain a clean work environment while adhering to safety protocols. Skills in residential painting techniques for facility enhancement projects.
