Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and skilled Replacement Windows Subcontractor and Door Installer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, replacing, and repairing windows and doors across residential and commercial properties. Your expertise will ensure that each project meets high standards of quality, safety, and customer satisfaction. This position offers an exciting opportunity for experienced construction professionals to showcase their craftsmanship while contributing to beautiful, energy-efficient upgrades for our clients. Responsibilities Install, replace, and repair a variety of windows and doors, ensuring precise fit and finish according to project specifications Handle glass materials safely during transportation, cutting, and installation processes Use hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment efficiently to complete installations with accuracy and safety Measure dimensions meticulously to guarantee proper fitment and adherence to quality standards Perform caulking, trim carpentry, frame carpentry, door hanging, and fixture installation to enhance the durability and aesthetics of each project Conduct heavy lifting as needed for large or bulky materials while maintaining safety protocols Follow schematics and blueprints precisely to ensure all components are correctly assembled or fabricated on-site or in the manufacturing process Maintain a clean work environment by organizing materials and disposing of debris responsibly during each phase of installation Skills Strong knowledge of construction estimating, blueprint reading, and interpreting technical drawings Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, metal stud framing, cabinetry installation, remodeling techniques, and construction painting Experience with glass materials handling—including cutting, installation, and safety procedures—along with glass materials knowledge Skilled in measurement (quality control), fixture installation, window installation, door installation, and trim carpentry Ability to read construction plans accurately and follow schematics for precise execution Hands-on experience with fabrication or manufacturing processes related to windows or doors is a plus Familiarity with handyman tasks such as caulking, drywall finishing, metal framing, remodeling projects, and general construction site experience Physical capability for heavy lifting and working at heights or in confined spaces safely Strong understanding of schematics and technical instructions related to window and door systems Excellent attention to detail for quality control during measurements and installations Join us if you're passionate about craftsmanship in construction!
