Weekends and Holidays OFF Typical shifts are 8 hours, Monday through Friday. This is routine work requiring efficient performance of simple cleaning tasks of an arduous nature. The work of employees in this class involves the thorough execution of tasks, which follow a well-established routine.

Minimum Qualifications:

Three (3) years of experience in either general building construction or maintenance work involving one or more of the standard trades such as carpentry, plumbing, or electrical, etc. and possession of a NYS Class D Drivers License. Thorough knowledge of standard building maintenance and repair practices, materials and tools; thorough knowledge of at least one building trade; working knowledge of one or more additional trades; ability to plan and on occasion supervise the work of others; ability to understand oral and written directions; ability to work independently and cooperatively; customer service orientation; positive attitude; good communication skills; responsiveness to customers; computer literacy/knowledge as it applies to the needs/demands of the position; ability to lift 50-100 lbs.; mechanical aptitude; dependability; thoroughness; physical condition commensurate with the demands of the position.
