$52,000 - $72,800 per year shift: Second work hours: 3 PM - 11:30 PM education: No Degree Required Responsibilities Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production, packaging, processing, and utility equipment. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and instrumentation systems. Maintain and troubleshoot pumps, motors, conveyors, valves, heat exchangers, mixers, fillers, sterilization/aseptic processing equipment, and packaging machinery. Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns and production maintenance calls. Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and document work accurately. Diagnose equipment failures and identify root causes to prevent recurring problems. Assist with equipment installations, modifications, and continuous-improvement projects. Perform welding, fabrication, machining, and other mechanical repairs as needed. Maintain facility equipment, including compressed air, water, refrigeration, boilers, and other utility systems, as applicable. Follow lockout/tagout (LOTO), electrical safety, confined-space, and other applicable safety procedures. Maintain a clean and organized maintenance area and follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs). Work closely with Production, Quality, Sanitation, and Engineering teams to minimize downtime. Maintain accurate maintenance records and communicate equipment issues to supervisors. Support food safety and quality programs and ensure maintenance activities do not compromise product integrity.
