Overview Join our dynamic maintenance team as a Maintenance Mechanic, where your mechanical expertise will keep our facilities running smoothly and efficiently. In this energized role, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a wide range of mechanical systems and equipment. Your proactive approach and technical skills will ensure optimal operation of HVAC systems, refrigeration units, kitchen appliances, and other critical machinery. Duties Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on HVAC systems, refrigeration units, kitchen equipment, and other mechanical systems to ensure continuous operation. Diagnose mechanical issues using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools; execute effective repairs promptly. Install, calibrate, and troubleshoot appliances and mechanical equipment across various departments. Operate company vehicles safely for on-site maintenance tasks and equipment transportation. Utilize HVAC & appliance technology to monitor system performance and implement necessary adjustments or repairs. Maintain accurate maintenance logs, service reports, and inventory records for all equipment serviced or replaced. Lead small teams or coordinate with contractors during complex repairs or construction projects involving mechanical systems. Experience Proven experience as a service technician with a strong background in appliance repair, HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/Refrigeration), and mechanical systems repair. Demonstrated ability to read schematics, technical diagrams, and blueprints for troubleshooting complex equipment. Hands-on experience with HVAC system repair, refrigeration maintenance, air conditioning units, and kitchen equipment servicing. Knowledge of maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) practices within industrial or commercial settings. Construction experience is a plus for understanding building systems integration. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical team members or clients. Valid driver's license with experience operating company vehicles safely; leadership qualities are valued for mentoring junior staff or leading maintenance projects. $47,372.00 - $56,928.00 per year
