Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a wide range of mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems across our facilities. Your expertise will ensure that all equipment operates efficiently, safety standards are upheld, and operational disruptions are minimized. Responsibilities Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on mechanical systems, refrigeration units, HVAC systems, and kitchen equipment to ensure optimal performance. Diagnose and troubleshoot issues using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools to identify root causes efficiently. Repair or replace appliances, HVAC components, refrigeration systems, and mechanical parts with precision and adherence to safety protocols. Install new appliances and mechanical systems, including HVAC units and kitchen equipment, following manufacturer specifications and industry standards. Operate company vehicles safely for on-site service calls or equipment transport as needed. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, parts used, and system performance logs. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to prioritize work orders and ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks. Experience Proven experience as a Service Technician or Maintenance Technician with a strong background in appliance repair, HVAC/R systems, refrigeration, and mechanical systems repair. Demonstrated ability to read schematics and technical diagrams for troubleshooting complex equipment issues. Experience with HVAC system repair—including air conditioning units—and kitchen equipment maintenance is highly desirable. Knowledge of maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) practices within a construction or industrial environment. Strong mechanical knowledge combined with leadership qualities to guide junior team members when necessary. Familiarity with HVAC & appliance technology along with experience operating company vehicles safely. Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients or internal stakeholders during service calls.
