Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Duct Installer and become a vital part of creating comfortable, efficient indoor environments! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining ductwork systems that ensure optimal airflow and HVAC performance. Your expertise will help deliver high-quality service to residential, commercial, and industrial clients, contributing to their comfort and energy efficiency. Duties Install, modify, and repair ductwork systems according to schematics, blueprints, and HVAC design specifications Measure and cut ducts accurately using appropriate tools such as saws, shears, and welding equipment Connect ductwork to HVAC units, ensuring proper sealing and insulation for maximum efficiency Read and interpret schematics, technical drawings, and HVAC system layouts to guide installations Collaborate with service technicians and other trades to troubleshoot system issues involving refrigeration, plumbing, or mechanical components Conduct routine maintenance on duct systems and related equipment to prevent future failures Use diagnostic tools like ohmmeters to test electrical connections and ensure system integrity Skills Strong construction background with experience in HVAC installation and property maintenance Knowledge of HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning / Refrigeration) systems including ammonia refrigeration applications Mechanical aptitude with experience in equipment repair, boiler operation, welding, and appliance servicing Ability to read schematics and technical diagrams related to HVAC design and duct layouts Familiarity with field service operations involving air conditioning units and refrigeration systems Mechanical knowledge of plumbing systems and refrigerant handling procedures Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience operating drivers or similar vehicles preferred Proficiency with testing tools such as ohmmeters for electrical troubleshooting Experience with welding techniques used in duct fabrication or repairs Strong problem-solving skills combined with excellent attention to detail in installation tasks Ability to work safely in confined spaces or at heights while maintaining OSHA standards Embark on a career where your skills make a tangible difference!
