Job Description
Maintenance Manager Behavioral Health Treatment Center Full-Time | Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM Our residential treatment center in Kingston, NY is seeking an experienced and dependable Maintenance Manager to oversee the daily maintenance, safety, and operations of our treatment facility. This position plays a critical role in ensuring a safe, functional, and well-maintained environment for both staff and clients. We are looking for a hands-on leader with strong facilities management experience, excellent problem-solving abilities, and knowledge of building systems including HVAC, electrical, and mechanical operations. Responsibilities Oversee the maintenance and daily operations of the facility and grounds Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to ensure safe and efficient facility operations Supervise maintenance staff, contractors, and outside vendors Coordinate repairs, installations, and facility improvement projects Conduct regular facility inspections to identify maintenance needs and safety concerns Ensure compliance with safety standards and applicable regulations Manage facility-related budgets and maintain cost-effective operations Maintain records of maintenance activities, warranties, repairs, and equipment inventory Troubleshoot issues involving HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems Assist with emergency maintenance situations as needed Stay current on industry trends and best practices in facilities management Qualifications Previous experience in facilities management, maintenance supervision, or a related field required Strong leadership and team management skills Knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems Experience with both high-voltage and low-voltage systems preferred Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings Strong project management and organizational skills Experience working with automation systems or logic controllers is a plus Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks Schedule Full-time - 8:00am - 4:00pm
