Job Description
Handyman Job Summary We are looking for a reliable, dependable handyman with strong customer service skills. In this position you will assist the maintenance team in ensuring our condominium is clean, functional, and inviting. Handyman Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform repairs in such areas, but not limited to appliances, carpentry, hardware accessories, masonry, painting, spackling and basic electrical, basic plumbing, and basic HVAC.
- Operate machinery including but not limited to; floor buffers, wet vacuums, dry vacuums.
- Perform simple repairs on amenity space appliances, machines, fitness equipment, and fixtures.
- Complete assigned service requests and repairs from residents consistent with company operating procedures.
- Maintain grounds and curb appeal through snow removal, landscaping and trash management activities.
- Be available for on call activity during off hours and emergencies bases on a pre-determined schedule and need.
- Following health and safety regulations and protocols.
- Performing other tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
- Report any unsafe conditions or situations that require attention to the on-site Management. Handyman Requirements and Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.
- General custodial skills in property maintenance or janitorial work.
- General knowledge of electrical, plumbing, appliances and HVAC.
- Ability to adhere precisely to a strict routine maintenance schedule.
- Ability to physically stand, bend, squat and lift up to 40+ pounds throughout course of shift.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- A positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
- A flexible schedule and availability to work weekends and holidays.
