If you have the skills and experience and can fix anything, our community has the job for YOU! What will you get to do as a Maintenance Technician? Perform a variety of Maintenance repairs such as fixing faucets, replacing light fixtures, helping implement safety protocols, painting and more!
Respond to Maintenance requests from our residents and from fellow associates.
Clean and prepare apartment homes for new residents.
Ensure proper storage of all maintenance supplies.
Continuously monitor all areas of the community and grounds to ensure they are properly and safely maintained.
Help team members set up activities and events at the community. Why we want you on our team: You have prior Maintenance, Housekeeping and/or Janitorial experience.

General Responsibilities:
Assures room readiness prior to all resident move ins and responds to resident concerns as they relate to room maintenance. Assists in preventive building maintenance including cleaning, painting, maintaining equipment as necessary or as directed.

Compliance with current law and policy to provide a work environment free from sexual harassment and all illegal and discriminatory behavior.4. Supports and participates in common teamwork:a. Cooperates and works together with all co-workers; plan and complete job duties with minimal supervisory direction, including appropriate judgment.b. Uses tactful, appropriate communications in sensitive and emotional situations.c. Follows up as appropriate with supervisor, co-workers or residents regarding reported complaints, problems and concerns.d. Promotes positive public relations with residents, family members and guests.e. Completes requirements for in-service training, acceptable attendance, uniform and dress codes including personal hygiene, and other work duties as assigned. Essential Duties ? Ensures that maintenance schedules are followed as outlined for respective shift and area.? Assists in preventive building maintenance including cleaning, painting and maintaining equipment as necessary or as directed? Coordinates daily maintenance services with nursing when performing routine .assignments in resident living areas.? Reports all accidents/incidents to your supervisor on the shift in which they occur.? Education/Training:
High school diploma required. Experience:
Minimum of two years' experience in building maintenance with knowledge of boilers, compressors, generators, various mechanical, electronic and plumbing systems preferred.Working Conditions:
Moves intermittently during working hours and subject to frequent interruptions. May be subject to hostile and emotionally upset residents, family members, personnel and visitors. Requirements:
Proficient reading, writing, grammar, and mathematics skills; proficient interpersonal relations and communicative skills; auditory and visual skills; ability to sit, stand, lift, bend, reach, push and pull a minimum of 50 pounds.
