Office Building Cleaner

Job Summary We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Office Building Cleaner to keep our commercial spaces spotless and welcoming. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness throughout the building, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for employees and visitors alike. The ideal candidate will have experience in janitorial or custodial work, with a keen eye for detail and a proactive attitude toward facilities maintenance. Duties Perform general cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal across all office areas. Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, kitchens, and common areas to meet health and safety standards. Use specialized equipment such as buffing machines and floor care tools to keep floors polished and well-maintained. Assist with industrial cleaning tasks when needed, including high dusting or deep cleaning of large surfaces. Support facilities maintenance by reporting any repairs or safety hazards promptly. Ensure cleaning supplies are stocked and properly stored, following safety guidelines. Help with light custodial duties such as window washing or residential painting as required. Experience Prior janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or industrial settings is preferred. Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing, stripping, and sealing floors. Familiarity with cleaning chemicals, tools, and safety procedures is essential. Experience with facilities maintenance tasks such as minor repairs or painting is a plus. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure all areas are thoroughly cleaned and maintained.
