Job Description

The Sullivan County Department of Public Works is seeking to fill the following position:

ASSISTANT SIGN INSTALLER

Assist in the installation of warning signs, paints centerlines, edge lines and crosswalks and does related work as required. This is manual work involved in all facets of the Department of Public Works traffic sign, and pavement marking programs. Incumbents of this class are required to carry out assignments under minimum supervision of a Sign Installer. May exercise minimum supervision over the work of Laborers.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

One (1) year of experience in traffic sign installation and pavement marking.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENT FOR APPOINTMENT

Possession of an appropriate valid Motor Vehicle Operator's License. Salary -

Hourly Entry Rate:

$28.8815

Hourly Full Rate:
