Monday- Friday 8:00AM
- 4:00PM  Install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair combined heat and power and chilled water systems and connected equipment to perform safely and efficiently; perform preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance duties and routines.
Responsibilities Required Education:
High school diploma or equivalent.Preferred Education:
Trade school or other post-elementary educationRequired Experience:
Ten years of relevant experience.Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Knowledge of combined heat and power and chilled water systems, equipment and instrumentation and controls proper operating conditions and parameters. Knowledge of maintenance routines, codes, standards, plant procedures, fire and life safety procedures and codes. Knowledge of University and department policies, processes, and quality standards. Soldering, minor welding, wire pulling, brazing, pipe threading and conduit installation skills. Specific Operation & Maintenance experience with mechanical equipment & systems (hydraulic, pneumatic, instrumentation, filters, lubrication processes, etc...). Shall have a thorough knowledge of the safe operation of hand tools, power tools, rigging equipment. Ability to climb ladders up to 24', perform work safely on "cherry picker", work in confined spaces or under extreme environmental conditions- Good written and verbal communications skills, good interpersonal skills.
- Working knowledge/familiarity with computer applications such as email
