Maintenance Technician

The Part-Time Maintenance Technician at The Nunda Ranch is a year-round, hands-on role responsible for maintaining the safety, functionality, and appearance of ranch facilities, grounds, and equipment. This position supports daily operations and seasonal needs through equipment maintenance, grounds care, and general handyman work. The ideal candidate is reliable, mechanically inclined, safety-conscious, and takes pride in maintaining a high-quality, well-kept property. This is a year-round, part-time, on-site position with flexible hours based on seasonal workload and weather conditions.

Hourly, based on experience Core Responsibilities (Year-Round) Maintain ranch buildings, grounds, and infrastructure in safe, working order Perform preventative maintenance on equipment, tools, and vehicles Identify repair needs and communicate issues proactively Complete work orders and task lists as assigned Follow all ranch safety procedures and equipment operation guidelines Maintain organized maintenance areas, tools, and storage spaces Support ranch operations during events, busy seasons, and emergencies Represent The Nunda Ranch with professionalism and care at all times Skills & Qualifications Experience in general maintenance, handyman work, or property care Mechanical aptitude and comfort using tools and equipment Ability to operate a variety of equipment safely Basic carpentry, painting, and repair skills Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical labor outdoors Self-motivated with strong time-management skills Reliable transportation to and from the ranch Ability to work independently and follow instructions Physical & Work Environment Requirements Outdoor work in varying weather conditions Standing, bending, lifting, climbing, and operating machinery Exposure to dust, noise, livestock areas, and uneven terrain

Pay:

$18.00 - $25.00 per hour
