A Building and General Maintenance Technician performs building maintenance and appliance repairs for an apartment complex, housing division, residential center or business, as directed by a property manager.
Our client, a manufacturing organization specializing in packaging solutions, is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to join their team. As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting production operations. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to safety and quality, which will align successfully in the organization.

Shift:
2nd Shift (1:00pm - 9:00pm), Monday through Friday, with overtime opportunities What's the Job? Perform routine maintenance and repairs on packaging machines, liquid fill pumps, and related equipment Conduct machine safety inspections and ensure compliance with safety standards Set up machines for production runs, including palletizers, conveyor systems, and pelletizer machines Utilize troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical issues Maintain facilities and HVAC systems to ensure optimal working conditions What's Needed? Proven experience in a manufacturing environment with mechanical and electrical systems Strong skills in HVAC, plumbing, and plant construction Experience with heavy equipment repair and facilities maintenance Proficient in troubleshooting and manual machining skills Ability to meet physical requirements of the job, including lifting and standing for extended periods What's in it for me?
