Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team at the Hyatt Place East End. In this role, you will ensure the smooth operation and maintenance of our hotel facilities, contributing to our mission of providing exceptional guest experiences. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your technical skills in a dynamic hospitality environment. Responsibilities Perform routine and preventive maintenance on hotel facilities and equipment. Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and plumbing issues efficiently. Read and interpret schematics and technical manuals. Operate tools such as ohmmeters and other diagnostic equipment. Maintain accurate records using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS). Assist with facility upgrades and repairs to ensure guest comfort and safety. Collaborate with team members to deliver high-quality maintenance services. Support safety protocols and ensure compliance with health standards. Qualifications Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field. Strong electrical, mechanical, and troubleshooting skills. Knowledge of schematics, CMMS software, and diagnostic tools. Excellent communication skills in English. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Supervisory or leadership experience is a plus. High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications are preferred.
